Wp-Admin Redirecting To Update Page

i am not an expert but have been reading many forum posts. it looks like it may have something to do with your objectcache.php file in wp-content folder. they suggest renaming that file and trying again.

So how exactly do I flush my cache if I am unable to get into my Dashboard in the first place? I’ve been searching online, but as of yet have been unable to find any sort of help.

Edit: found “Empty all caches” under Performance tab on the top, however it brings me back to that same update screen.

If your hosting provider was WPCLI installed, and you have shell access, you can run:

wp cache flush

If you’re using a caching plugin, try accessing your site via FTP or SFTP and deleting the plugin’s cache directory.

If none of those are possible for you, I recommend contacting your hosting provider.
