wp-admin/update-core.php?action= HANGS

  • Hello,

    On my website [ redundant link removed ] whenever I do an activity based around
    wp-admin/update-core.php?action=do-translation-upgrade

    Or any plugin or something that runs around that nature, the page just goes white, the Chrome circle spins and it hangs. When I wait 2-3 minutes and click the ‘back’ button on a browser and go to ‘re do it’ you get the warning box on Chrome, but then it goes and shows it as having been done.

    So its completing the task, but also hanging and not going back to the dashboard.

    Would like to know why, just in case there is a underlying issue that needs solving.

    It’s not a widely reported problem, so it’s likely related to something about your specific installation. The next time this happens, check both your browser console and the server’s error log for clues to what the problem was.
