So I have run into a issue with my plugins.php (page that opens when you click Installed Plugins on the WP Dashboard) where I get a white screen of death. I have tried disabling plugins and checked error log and have been unsuccessful in troubleshooting. Just throwing this out there in case anybody had experienced this before. And if so, what measures did you take to resolve.

  • This sounds like a PHP memory error. Are you on a shared server, virtual private server, or dedicated server?

Whatever type of hosting you have, you will need to deactivate all plugins to get the page to load again and then reactivate them one by one until the problem comes back to figure out which plugin is causing problems. The easiest way to do this is explained in this article. You will need to rename the plugins folder to “plugins.deactivate”

    Hope this helps.

I am using a dedicated server. I have tried deactivating all plugins, but the installed plugins page remains white.

Updated to WP 4.6.1 and it returned? Thank you for your help though ??

That was going to be my next suggestion. Actually, I was going to say click the Re-install now button on the updates page.

Glad you were able to fix it by updating though!
