    Hey,

I got a little big problem with the extension to import the tabs with WP All Import.

If the additional plugin (see link) is activated, that is supposed to let me import the tabs with WP I get this error:

ERROR: Unexpected token COMMA, statement was expected.

Even if I click on “don’t import the tabs” this error appears.

If I deactivate the additional plugin the import works fine.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Regards

    Hi @maxxifoil,

I believe this error is related to shortcode attributes or inline CSS. Do you have any shortcodes or inline CSS in your custom tab content? WP All Import does not let allow these characters.

    Let me know.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.

    Hey Kevin,

    it’s rather strange.

I definitely has something to do with shortcodes in my case.

But even after I delete the shortcode from the respective tab and even delete the cache I get an error. I have to delete the whole tab in order to get it working again.

Another question – if I add the tabs manually to each product the shortcodes work like a charm.

If I buy the pro version to create global tabs (or categorized tabs, which’ll work in the pro version?) – will shortcodes work then?

    Regards

    Hi Maxi,

The only thing that breaks shortcodes are certain shortcode arguments when using the WP All Import plugin(s). Can you show me an example of one of the shortcodes that isn’t working when importing a tab?

In general, all shortcodes will work in tabs (global tabs, saved tabs, category-based tabs, etc.) They work in the free version and the pro version.

The issue w/ WP All Import is not related to free/pro version of our plugin.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hey Kevin,

    sure, here are two examples.

One is a form I created with CF7, the other one is a gallery out of Flatsome:

    [contact-form-7 id=”3839″ title=”Individuelle Anfrage”]

    [ux_gallery ids=”6525,6534,6539,6542,6549,6555,6559,6565,6587,6592,6600,6612,6617,6618,6623,6632,6636,6643,6644,6645,6646,6647,6649″ style=”shade” columns=”6″ image_hover=”glow” text_color=”dark”]

And then I got a last one which is a code I created with the plugin shortcoder myself:

    [sc name=”Klebeanleitung”}

    Thanks a lot ??

    Hi @maxxifoil,

The problem is with the [ux_gallery]‘s shortcode ids argument.

I don’t know why WP All Import has an issue with this. I’ve gotten in touch with them about this before but haven’t seen any changes.

I agree with you though that this shouldn’t throw an error if you’re explicitly not importing that tab.

We’ll make a ticket and look into this again.

    Thank you,
    Kevin.
