I took a longer look at it today with the following result. Support of this plugins will not be possible for various reasons:
- The import of images requires the Pro version of this plugin.
- The import of images of this plugin currently uses a sequence of hooks that make it impossible to cleanly influence the import in such a way that the imported images could be external files. The files may have to be downloaded and imported several times.
- The import is generally written in a rather unclean state, which is why I don’t know whether support would no longer be possible in a short time by updating this code through its developers. The effort to keep a support on my side up to date would be too great for me.
In addition, the plugin already supports external files. However, it always downloads them (even multiple times ..) and imports them as local files into the media library.
As long as these conditions do not change, support is unfortunately not feasible.
