Does the plugin have support for WP All Import?

If not, could/would you add the functionality?

Hello and thank you for your question.

No, so far I have not tested the compatibility with this plugin. But I have put it on my list for further development. However, I can’t promise anything, as the possibilities for this are also heavily dependent on the respective plugins.

Hello and thanks for the quick response.

The following plugin integrates with its own addon for WP All Import, probably the WPAI Rapid Add-On API which allows easy extension of the WP All Import plugin. Anyhow… just food for thought. Best of luck with your plugin ??

I took a longer look at it today with the following result. Support of this plugins will not be possible for various reasons:

    • The import of images requires the Pro version of this plugin.
    • The import of images of this plugin currently uses a sequence of hooks that make it impossible to cleanly influence the import in such a way that the imported images could be external files. The files may have to be downloaded and imported several times.
    • The import is generally written in a rather unclean state, which is why I don’t know whether support would no longer be possible in a short time by updating this code through its developers. The effort to keep a support on my side up to date would be too great for me.

In addition, the plugin already supports external files. However, it always downloads them (even multiple times ..) and imports them as local files into the media library.

As long as these conditions do not change, support is unfortunately not feasible.
