    Hi,

I need to know weather can we achieve the SSO feature with WordPress site and ASP.net site. When I login to my WordPress site it should not ask log in to my ASP.net site, it should use the same session. Same way if I login to my ASP.net site then I visit to WP site it should not ask login.

Below is my ASP.net site link

Please let me know if it is achievable.

    Thanks,
    Vivek

We provide SSO solutions for both WordPress and ASP.Net applications hence we can definitely help you in achieving your use case.

Can you please let me know where all your user identities come from?
Is it from WordPress, ASP.net, or any other platform?

    Hi @gauravsingh7,

    User identities comes from WordPress.

    Looking forward for the solution.

    Thanks,
    Vivek

    Hi Vivek,

For your use case, you will need to use your WordPress site as the SAML Identity Provider and the .NET application as the SAML Service Provider.
This will allow your users to log into the .NET application using their WordPress credentials.

Hence, if the user is first logged into the WordPress site, and then tries to log into .NET, they will not be prompted for credentials again.
Similarly, if the user first logged into the .NET application using their WordPress credentials and then tries to log into the WordPress site, they will be seamlessly logged in.

For this solution, you would require the following components:

    1. WordPress SAML IDP plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/miniorange-wp-as-saml-idp/

    2. .NET SAML SP module: https://www.miniorange.com/asp.net-single-sign-on-(sso)

Let me know if you require any further assistance in setting this up.

    Thanks,
    Gaurav Singh
