I know this maybe a log shot to get an answer here but I thought maybe the collect knowledge of this group there would be someone knowledgable on this topic.

Here is the issue that I’m having. When I’m preparing a WP (Word Press) blog post and uploading photos into it they all look color managed on the admin side of WP. They match PhotoShop and Adobe LightRoom. But when I do either a post preview or publish the post the photos no longer look color managed.

Do you guys/gals know if there is a WordPress setting that I need to active? As I understand Sarfari for Mac is supposed to recongnize color profile tags and it appeards that the admin side of WP is seeing them but something is missing once the post gets published.

Thanks a gabilllion to anyone who can help.

Got my answer to this question today, finally. After asking in a half dozen places the guys at ProPhoto Blogs had the answer. They said “Your image is being downsized by the web server to fit your site when it does that the server is stripping the profile. So in my case my images were only 10 px wider than the site. So they recommended either changing my site width up 10 pixels, or reduce your margin by 5 pixels. This should allow your existing photos to fit without downsizing and your colors should look right again.”
