WP and Theme update through admin panel Vs fresh install

    Hi guys,

    Lets say I want to troubleshoot what is causing problems with my code.

    1 of the potential culprits is the WP install.

    Will automatically updating WP to the newest version through admin panel serve the same purpose and generate the same results as doing a fresh install of the newest version of WP on the server? I know the differences in performing the 2 processes but I don’t what, if any, are are the differences in the outcomes.

    Same question for the theme.
