WP as CMS for serving Online Help in an iFrame?
-
We need to implement an online help system where one help text is served whenever a user hovers over the help button on our online site. The site is not written in WP, but the idea is that the site spawns a pop-up which includes an iFrame within which the help text is served. There will be a few hundred different help texts that will need to be managed.
Does anyone have any experience in using WP as a CMS to manage these help texts? Obviously, layout would be different from standard WP – no headers, footers, sidebars, widgets, chronologically ordered text – just one help text entry per pop-up, styled through a 1-column theme, with no comments/permalinks/…
Would WP even be a good fit for a CMS like that? Anything else you would recommend?
