    Using Divi 3.45 with a child theme.

    Hi, I’m so sorry to have strange troubles. My WordPress Backend doesn’t work correctly. Links are working, but the design is not the same an clicking any Button nothing is going on.

    For explanation: I updated Divi yesterday and about the same time I told WordPress, to work with https instead of http. My sql is correct an causes no problems. I do not know, which action caused the fault. I’m sure, it first worked everything before problems arrived.

    My backups could not be restored, because there isn’t any action when clicking buttons.

    I dectivated all plugins – nothing. I even deleted them via FTP – nothing. I installed Divi all new, I installed WordPress all new – nothing … I tried with twentyseveteen – all the same.

    I’m really desolated. I couldn’t find help in WordPress-Forum and I didn’t find a thread in Divi-Support.

    Please, please could you help me.
    Thanks and best regards

    PS.: Frontend also doesn’t run like it should !

    If you tried disabling all plugins and activating a default WP theme then it might be that there is some issue in the WP files.

    Try forcing a WordPress reinstall. Go to /wp-admin/update-core.php and click the “Re-Install Now” button.

    Yippieee, I found the reason !! If anyone else should have this problem after chinging from http to https:

    There appeared a wrong code in the wp-config.php. I don’t know, how it was placed there – perhaps with a plugin …

    Here the correct code – certainly you should put your own site’s URL instead of hubertusalm.eu:
    define( 'WP_CONTENT_URL', 'https://hubertusalm.eu/wp-content' );

    [Moderator note: code fixed. Please wrap code in the backtick character or use the code button.]

    Best regards !!
