  • … same here, but VC version 4.11.1!

Yep, same problem, VC version 4.7.4

Seems the problem is the new implemented jquery in WP 4.5. An update from WP Bakery should be on its way, unfortunately my plugin was bundled with a theme, so I have to wait for the author to update the theme.

Got the page back on track by reinstalling the previous WP version.

Same here..reverted back to old WP version 4.4.2.

    How can I revert Back?

An update for WP Bakery Visual Composer has been available for a month: https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/Release+Notes

Updating does not work either. I have the latest version installed and what’s weird is that a portion of the visual bakery rows show but many rows missing! The latest version does not work.

Contact WP Bakery; that is a commercial plugin not supported here.

Here’s how you can downgrade your WordPress https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwNR6NVhVFQ

I followed the steps as shown in the video and it worked for me.

Thanks a lot anirban789, worked perfectly for me too!

Upgrade VC to 4.11.2 fixes the problem.

visual composer 4.11.1 is the only solution you can download the latest version go to this link [link moderated]

@nuwannirosh: that is an illegal link to a pirated copy of the plugin. Do not post such links in these forums.

I was able to update the last version of Visual Composer 4.11.2.1 with WordPress 4.5.1 and it is working fine. If the plugin is not in the plugin folder so probably you will need for a theme update since I believe that will be more difficult to fix.

BE WARY OF WPBAKERY AND ENVATO MARKETPLACE IN REGARDS TO VISUAL COMPOSER!!!

I set up a site six months ago with vc, and even though it came with my theme (Automotive Car Dealership Business) I went ahead and bought a license for it to avoid waiting on updates through the theme dev. After the recent update in WordPress it stopped working- right after my original support period ended. I purchased a “support extension” for the theme so I could get them to take a peek at it and fix it- and their response was “It’s a problem w/ another plugin, not covered by our support”. No evidence given, no clue as to which other plugin they saw the problem with- just “not our problem, go fix it yourself”.

Wow. I’m completely blown away by this level of UNprofessionalism. Enough so that I asked for a refund from Enavto- who proceeded to tell me the plugin developer was responsible for the refund, which is comical, because the plugin developer proceeded to tell me that Envato is responsible.

Guess I can kiss that refund goodbye, and now I’ve got to fix their damn plugin myself.

    BE WARY!!!
