WP Bitly Feature Request: Add Customize Link Functionality

  • Hi, great work with WP Bitly! I set it up using our custom short domain and it’s working great.

    I then reviewed various support topics, but none addressed what I think would be of great value in the plugin…

    1. The ability to customize the link from within WordPress. For example, bit.ly/mylink1 instead of bit.ly/09uh56 – like you can do at bitly.com

    2. Or, at least pick up the assigned custom link set in the Bitly account.

    For instance, I created the link https://tri.pet/triforums for our Tripawds discussion forums, but when I Get Shortlink from our site, it is https://tri.pet/21o9S51

    Both links redirect properly, but the branding is nice.
