WP Block theme Builder

  • The builder is still not good enough, the document is nice but not enough.
    for example, why i can do border top only?
    what about ajax?
    why i can’t save the template directly? currently i need to download files…

    i spent time to understand it, in that time i could build full theme by classic theme…
    i love the idea beind the builder but i feel like it not good enough, Elementor builder experience is better but i believe the right way and the best way is to use WP block theme/editor…

  • The Core team has to balance many horses, right. You want more options for styling inside a page. But don’t forget every single unique styling of a block will be stuck on that page forever.
    So, for sites with lot’s of pages; there’s a legacy-styling problem. For example: you color the header 2 to yellow (a custom customer). In 3 years from now: the company marketing team decided that every header 2 must have a red color. Meanwhile the website has 500 pages…

    Therefor i think it’s a better idea to focus more on global styles and classes.
