WP Calendar – show future posts without using plugin

Hi,

I’m just looking for a way to use the standard WP Calendar but show future posts. I’m hoping there’s a way I can drop in a WP query to do this but haven’t found a way so far.

I really don’t want to use a plugin if I can avoid it.

That said if there’s one that works well (tried a few for a couple of hours earlier, didn’t do the job) then I’m all ears.

Basically I want the thing to work exactly as per built in calendar except:

– Show future posts
– Show for only one category
– Allow full customisation of event [posts] page
