Help! I was using this plug-in very successfully…then today I updated all my plugins and updated to wordpress 7.5.

after I did that, the dashboard said it had deactivated the plugin because the file *.php was missing (I can’t remember the entire file name…it looked like a main Cerber file…and I can’t find that message anymore)

The plugin is no longer even listed on my plugin list, so I can’t activate/deactivate/uninstall. I tried installing it again but I get an error when I try saying the destination folder already exists. I’d rather not re-install anyway as I’d like to keep all my current settings.

Any way to get that php file working again or back where it needs to be?

I am a pretty novice WP user, so please keep any intructions basic for me. Thanks
    Julie

    1. Delete the plugin folder (wp-cerber) using a file manager in your hosting control panel or via FTP.
    2. Install WP Cerber as usual from within the WordPress dashboard.
