Wp cli to ignore posts in deployment to live

  • Is there anyway when migrating a database from pre-prod to live and have it ignore all posts? So it doesn’t replace them on the live site only the other tables?

    Would it be a filter option based post type etc?

    I have just done a google search, and just wondered how I would exclude the tags and categories as well etc?

    wp db export –exclude_tables=wp_posts
