WP-CLI version and ways of installing

  • I installed WP-CLI quite some time ago.
    The installation procedure was quite different to what is on the home page now.

    I’m not sure on how to go forward with it now.
    Uninstall this version? How?
    Update this version? How?

    Any advice and some pointers on where to find more info would be helpful.
