WP Clone is not backing up, returns error 404, file not found. WHY?

    I backed up my 1.46MB site in February 2024 and it worked fine. I click on Create Backup, choose to do it with WP Clone, which returns the message: Error 404, page not found”. NOTE: my site is not fat, and I do not need or want to try a another plugin. I want to know why WP clone does not back up like it did 6 weeks ago, and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @wphelp2024

    We have not updated or release any changes to the plugin or quite some time. If the plugin does not work anymore for you something on your site had to change or with your configuration.

    If you don’t want to use new WP Clone version, we can’t do much there as this version does not offer any simple debug options compared to new plugin in case of such issues.
