WP CLoud (Use-your-drive) is not showing thumbnail of first page of pdf files in Lightbox mode.

They only show if someone is logged in. I tested with Optimole debug mode and it only reports the expected “can’t optimize Google files”. As the Lightbox only errs when not logged in, can’t use the Optimole debugger to test.

No caches or cache plugins are active.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @rkrous,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, WP Cloud Plugins – Google Drive appears to be a Premium plugin which restricts our ability to test this issue on our test site. Could you please provide a screencast of the issue so we can understand it properly?

    Best regards

    Attached are 3 screen shots:

    1. The page with Optimole active.?
    2. The page with Optimole inactive.
    3. The Optimole debugger report.

The WP Cloud plugin displays the first page of each of 16 PDFs, and clicking on each picture displays the whole PDF.  All the 16 files are PDFs. The debugger report is understandable in that Optimole can’t optimize the foreign files.  I can not understand why the first two PDFs do show, but not any of the others.  The first two PDFs do have a graphic on the first page, but so does the third one.

The URL to that page is: https://avpusa.org/facilitator-home/annual-report/

Thanks for helping. ?If you want, I can give you a temporary admin login to the WordPress website.

    Hi @rkrous,

Could you please try to exclude this page(https://avpusa.org/facilitator-home/annual-report/) from lazyloading process of Optimole using the exclusion rules and see if this helps or not?

Please check this guide to learn how to exclude a page from lazyloading process.

I am looking forward to your reply, thank you!

    Thanks Kush,

    Lazy Load was the problem.

BTW: Those two PDFs that DID show while Optimole was active was because I had a “skip the lazy load for the first two images” selected in Optimole settings.

Yes, that was the problem as those images were lazyloaded twice, first by Optimole and second by your theme or other plugins. If you wish to keep Optimole’s lazyloading then you must disable it from other plugins.

    Best regards
