Just noticed that wp-content and wp-includes directories are missing from backups. No matter if they are checked or not in the job settings. I have noticed this problem in many sites and servers.

I’m using latest WP (5.0.1) and plugin (3.6.6)

Please check this issue quickly, this is a serious issue!

    Hi @delanet
Sorry, but none of our test environment got your issue after testing.
Could you please make sure that wp-content and wp-includes do not have the .donotbackup file?
Also, is it possible to give me screenshots of your job settings and the activated plugin list?
    Thanks!

please no worry, you can hide your site url, hide part of your server path ??

I can share you complete enviroment with WP access, if you can tell me where I can share the information. I believe that the problem can not be solved by means of simply screenshots.

No, this case has not yet been resolved. As you may know, Christmas and New Year holidays are currently going on, so I haven’t been at the computer. I’ll go back to this as soon as the holiday time is over.

However, the problem applies to at least TAR and TAR / GZ package formats. I can’t currently test a Zip-shaped package because this is not possible with a hosting provider before they have placed PHP on the ZIP extension.

The problem also applies to ZIP packages (a corrupt package), and several different hosting providers.

just downloaded the plugin and first backup says 14 warnings and 2 errors?

I have the same problem on multiple sites. I have test change the compression mode but in the backup file missing the directory also wp-content/uploads or /plugin backup only a directory plugin.
In the log non present the error.

    Thanks for support

    @folletti
Hi, if you using FTP access to download the backup archive then extract it, is the issue happens?
Also, Please show me your server configuration by go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Infomation -> and press “Get debug info”

    Thank you!
