wp-content directory just vanished

    Hi,

    Domain: zeeshanusuf.com

    Had just finished fine tuning my website, was about to download a full backup. I connected FTP, and wp-content wasn’t there. It’s strange because I was working on the website in browser right at the moment. I came back to check in the browser and it said the website/theme does not exist.

    So all my data and settings are apparently gone. Is there anyway to get it back?

    If you don’t have backus, try asking your hosting provider if they have recent backup of your site and if they can restoreit to that prior backup.

    As my luck would have it, the hosting company had disabled backups on the specific server I was on for some “internal reasons”.
