wp-content redirects not working

    My redirects for wp-content aren’t working – neither new ones I add or old redirects that were previously okay.

    The page > page redirects are fine.

    Please send help! Links are broken on production and staging environments.

    It’s not possible to redirect files that exist with any WP redirect plugin. If your source URL is something like /wp-content/uploads/2022/02/file.txt and the file exists then the redirect will not work because the file will be served before WP is even loaded. If the file does not exist then the redirect will work.
