WP Core issue?

    This most likely means you have a very large number of rows in the options table. This can be caused by plugins that don’t clean up after themselves, generally crappy plugins storing too many autoloading options, lots of transients, etc.

    You should be able to clear this out to speed things up. Have a Google around and you’ll find plenty articles about optimising your options table.
