Wp-creativix 2.4 featured image not showing in slider

I am using the wp-creativix v. 2.4. I am having trouble getting my images to appear in the slider. I have them set to be the ‘featured image’, and inside the post I checked the box that says ‘feature in slide show’. When I upload a photo and insert it into a post, it appears in the post but when I set the image to be the featured image it does not appear in the slider. Please help.
