WP Cron not working

Hi,
Since 3 days my wp-cron is no longer working. I get messages from WP Newsletter, WP Rocket and Sitediagnose.
I contacted the host but they say the server is working as it should.
Things I have tried:
– replace wp-cron.php with a fresh one
– added define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true); to wp-config.phpThe second option works….only not fast enough. It is firing the cron but too slow to cache all my pages in WP Rocket?
Are there other options? A solution would be much appreciated.
