WP Customer Reviews stopped working?

    Hi There,

    I’m using the AVADA Theme.

    I’m a bit at a loss to how to correct this. The reviews I had on our site were working fine until a restore of the site was done.

    Because things weren’t working and the short code seemed OK, I downloaded and reinstalled the plugin again. I’ve tried editing the short code to [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”3″] but still nothing.

    Any Ideas?

    Reviews are supposed to be at the bottom of the page at https://www.wmec.ca under “Rewards”

    Thank you for touching base!

    Feeling a bit embarrassed, but it was a very simple fix.

    Somehow the “Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page” check box was deselected at the bottom of the page. I have no idea how this happened on its own. I believe it had something to do with recent site restore that was done.

    I was trouble shooting everything but kept scrolling past the check box because I didn’t deselect it myself and I’m the only one who has access to edit. I just assumed everything was as I left it.

    I need to slow down and read when I’m panicking.

    All good. I was getting ready to release a new version and wanted to make sure I didn’t need to fix your issue.

    This might be a bug. I also had this happen a few times. If I edit a page with reviews enabled, every now and then the “Enable Reviews” box is unticked. I didn’t untick it, and it doesn’t happen every time I edit a page.
    If I don’t notice that it’s unticked and click save, the reviews are disabled for the page and I need to fill in the details again.
    I’m using Chrome for editing WordPress pages.

    @paulw32 – Just released 3.2.5 , let me know if you still see the issue after you upgrade. I found the possibility you described and am pretty sure I have prevented it by making several kind-of-related updates. You may notice the checkboxes are now Yes/No dropdowns, which helped simplify some of the backend logic.

    I inserted the review on a clients new website. The plugin worked find a few weeks back and I ran some test posts successfully. Now, when the create a new review button is clicked the form will expand and then collapse automatically in a second. I tried an uninstall and reinstall with no success. Can you help?
