• Hi, I’ve installed the laste WP version and there is a formatting error when opening WP dashboard. There are no plugins installed and no custom theme. Just a basic WP installation. I’ve downgraded it to 5.8 and the error is solved. There are also no error messages in the console.

Unfortunately I cannot attach an image to show you what it looks like. But maybe someone have the same issue and would know the problem or solution.

  • Check your browser’s developer console to see if there are any errors.

The forum doesn’t support image attachments natively, but you can upload your screenshot to any public website like https://snipboard.io/ and share the link here.

Hello George, thanks for your reply. Here is a screenshot https://snipboard.io/hAaKNc.jpg

As I already written there were no errors in the console and it was just a basic WP installation. No Plugins and no custom themes.

I’m sorry I missed the part of your earlier message where you said you’ve checked the browser console.

But your screenshot would suggest some resource(s) aren’t getting loaded. And it’s a mystery that no error is reported in the browser’s console.

    I would suggest:

    1) Check your webserver’s access and error logs, if you haven’t done so already.

    2) Turn on debugging in WordPress (if you’ve not done so already), and check for any WordPress or PHP errrors.
