WP Database backup – tables excluded ??

Same problem : if the backup is not a full backup (all tables checked and no folders excluded), the result for SQL is : “Found 0 tables in 1 databases (0 records)”.
Thus, impossible to create a partial SQL backup.

Tested on sereral WP sites.

Problem found in /includes/class-xcloner-database.php line 282 :

if (!in_array($table, $included))

$table does not contain the database’s name.

Work fine with this correction :

$dbTable = $database.".".$table;
if (!in_array($table, $included) and !in_array($dbTable, $included))

I’ve posted the quick fix in the new 4.1.3 version, thank you for the fast response, it seems to work fine now.

Your patch 4.1.3 is not working. You are missing curly braces on line 280 and 287 of said module:

			if (sizeof($included) and is_array($included)) {
				$dbTable = $database.".".$table;
				if (!in_array($table, $included) and !in_array($dbTable, $included))
				{
					$tablesList[$inc]['excluded'] = 1;
					$this->log(sprintf(__("Excluding table %s.%s from backup"), $table, $database));
				}
			}
			$inc++; 

else there is an error generated by the plugin at runtime, and no database table gets backed up:

php_system.DEBUG: E_NOTICE: array ( ‘type’ => 8, ‘message’ => ‘Undefined variable: dbTable’, ‘file’ => ‘…/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/includes/class-xcloner-database.php’, ‘line’ => 282, ) [] []

I’ve posted an update on the latest development package https://github.com/ovidiul/XCloner-Wordpress/archive/dev.zip , please try and reinstall that and see if you have anymore issues.

This fix doesnt seem to have worked at all
I keep getting “Found 0 tables in 1 databases (0 records)” even making sure the code described above is correct in the php file.

Is there any other file that needs to be fixed or any expected fix for this in the upcoming releases?

I am able to make it work if i do the following steps.

1 – Generate Backup -> Click next
2 – Database Options page.
a. Click the Arrow to expand fully the database. let it load
b. Click the Root square to unselect all the database
c. click again to select them again
3 – Next to file Options
4 – Start Backup

The manual expanding of the database tab, and uncheck and recheck seem to do the trick. So i assume the default selection isnt done propperly even if visually all is selected

Can someone Replicate?

Please make sure you have latest XCloner version installed, if you still have issues, please open a new ticket. Closing this for now.
