• Hello,

the plugin was always working fine, but it stopped autoamtically sending the backup to the email according to the settings.

It sends the backup ONLY if:
    I go to: wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-dbmanager/database-manage.php
I chose to send the backup to the email given, and
I get this message “Database Backup File For ’12 April 2013 @ 13:29′ Successfully E-Mailed To ‘mymail'”

    It doesn’t work if:
In the wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-dbmanager/wp-dbmanager.php settings I chose to backup every 1 day.
And even though there is written “Next backup date: 13 April 2013 @ 13:22” it won’t send any email.

    To summarize:
it sends the emails only if sent manually, not in automatic mode.

    More details:
Yes, the backup gets created every day. The only problem is with the scheduled emailing.
The problem is with the plugin not sending the emails. Not with the mail server not receiving them, since there is no track in the sending mail server logs of any attempt.

    I hope you can help

  • Hello your issue is the same as the following support thread. I hope the developer looks into this soon. Unless the update of another plugin has caused this to happen, it could be a conflict with a recent updated plugin.

    Kind regards

How big is your DB? It might be too big to send via email. Does the DB gets created?

I am running it on 3 of my sites with the latest version (should be the same version that you all have) and it works fine. My DB size is only about 3Mb after gzipped.
