The plugin used to work just fine until recently Wappalyzer started detecting WP on the front page. It doesn’t detect WP on the identical page (if it’s not set as a front page); all other pages are not being detected either. Nothing changes even when I disable ALL plugins except for WP Hide. I don’t believe we made any changes. Any help would be appreciated

Actually, it’s super weird. Now it detects WP on more pages. I cleared the cache after every test. One page still doesn’t detect WP. How can this be possible with no changes being made to the code? I can share the link to the test site. Just lmk where to send it, please.

@tdgu thanks! How do I dm you? I don’t see that option here. Or please let me know your direct email. It’s so weird. The test site that was detecting WP yesterday is no longer detecting it today. Literally, nothing has changed overnight. Do you know by any chance if Wappalyzer is storing data about websites? Such as if it sees that you’re logged in under admin in WP for the specific url it will cache it and display that info to other users? Otherwise, I’m lost! Thanks!

Ok I think I figured what’s going on. Looks like there is some internal browser caching for plugins. So that Wappalyzer was caching results. Fully clearing the cache + history + browser restart does the job. I hope this info will be useful for some
