WP doesn’t ‘read’ the defined functions

    Does anyone know what’s happening when WP runs but doesn’t seem to pick up the functions defined in wp-includes/functions.php? This may help resolve the topic ‘call to undefined function’ in the Installation forum, where WP is stopping at wp-blog-header.php on line 14 with ‘Undefined function wp()’ error. (Posting here to try and find someone who knows.) Thanks

    Found there was an error in the wp-config.php. Loading a fresh version of the file sorted it out.
