  • Open To Selection should be checked, to have the tree automatically open to the current page.

I’d appreciate it if you turned it back on for debugging purposes. I need to see the output to figure out what’s broken.

    hi

have checked Open to Selection in WPdTree-Categories widget [tree remains closed by default across browsers and platforms].

    thanks for your help …

Ah. I see now what you’re asking. Open To Selection is working fine but you want the tree to start fully expanded.

Just set Force Open To, to ‘all’ (without the quotes).

    Books are appreciated.

    hi ulf

hmmmmm, have set Force to open to ‘all’ [w/o quotes] with no change in category tree default [across browsers and platforms] … ?

see widget settings screen shot here: https://rabbihannahorden.com/wp-dtree-cat.jpg

can you see whatelse might be causing the problem?

thanks much for your continuing support of this plug-in ??

Aha! We’ve discovered a bug. The default behaviour when not finding the requested path (if Open To Selection is on), is to close the entire tree.

This happens after Force Open To so the result is a tree that remains closed.

If you disable Open To Selection, and keep Force Open To all the tree should stay open.
