• Hi guys. We develop the WP e-commerce lite plugin, I think you will find the first shopping cart plugin made for WP ??

We’ve spent hundreds of hours developing this and now we need some advise.

The shopping cart & shopping cart page links are tied into wp_list_pages but it freaks out in certain themes where sub pages are linked in the sidebar and the main page links are at the top (like K2). What it does is display the shopping cart with the main page links as opposed to the sub links in the sidebar.

Of course this only happens when the cart is set to display in the sidebar. When the cart is set to display in the page it works fine.

What we want to know is this; is there a better way for us to display our cart & shopping page links in the side bar then using wp_list_pages. We just cant seem to find anything on the topic. Any advice would be much appreciated.

It does not matter. We now have three ways to add the cart to a wordpress site:

    1) manually – add a line of php
    2) making a preference in the options page
    3) as a wordpress widget!!!!

Nice! Okay, now you just have to download it and enjoy….

hey there. the plugin looks great. here are two questions i have about it:

    1) on the the product page, the list of categories at the top take up a bunch of room on the page, so the actual products don’t even start until almost the bottom. how would i go about putting those categories into a dropdown menu, with the products starting immediately below? that way, more products are immediately visible, instead of making customers to scroll to see them.

    2) i don’t know if this is possible, but i’m trying to add paypal options to each of the products. like, i don’t want to have to list a different product for each size of t-shirt that i sell. is that even possible without tearing up the entire plugin?

    thanks a lot!
