WP e-Commerce image permissions

  • When I add a new product, the image that is loaded through Thickbox is chmod 750, so it does not load —?it just spins. I can change these manually after I add a product, but this is not doable for the client.

    Any ideas why images are being uploaded this way?

    (Using the latest version of WP e-Commerce 3.6.9)

    yes Ive just installed it too and same problem. installed it local host 1st using wamp server. everything worked fine locally. however exact same install on (4uhosting) lead to same problem as mentioned. the thumbnails created work grand oublic permissions granted however the full size images dont have public permissions. I manually CHmodd public permissions on this images. and it worked fine. thinckbox works ok now.

    however this still dowsnt solve problem. why are the permissions limited (chmod 770 ?)

    found answer

    1) Go to …plugins/ wp-shopping-cart/ “processing_functions.php”
    2) Changes permissions on lines… 511… 580… 594…
    3) 774 is perfect…
