WP ecommerce plugin – file permissions

  • I’m running WP2.9.2 and have installed and activated WP Shopping Cart 3.7.6.4. When I attempt to add products or categories I get:
    The following directories are not writable:
    /wpsc/downloadables/
    /wpsc/previews/
    /wpsc/product_images/
    /wpsc/product_images/thumbnails/
    /wpsc/category_images/
    /wpsc/upgrades/

    I’ve done a pretty thorough search of ALL directories in the WP folder on the server, especially in the wp-content/plug-ins directory but can’t find these sub-directories to change permissions. Can someone tell me where these directories are supposed to be?

  • I got the same problem now and if you have not had time to solve it so I have solved it by deleting wpsc directory and create a new one with same name and gave it the right by 777 and then created all the other under directories manually.
