I’ve just updated to WP 3.9. It’s really sad to see that some plugins do not offer support for new versions. Anyway, I changed my Editor to WP Edit. I was hoping for it to work fine, but it didn’t. :/

I’m using Q Translate along my WordPress installation. Unfortunately, it seems that WP Edit and Q Translate cannot work together. When I activate Q Translate, on the PageEdit page, I cannot access to visual editor.

I understand you’ve put so much work on this plug-in. I’m sure it would work fine as you solve most of the issues caused by the update. But I should say this plugin is totally useless for me right now. As I’ve said, I can’t even access to the visual editor, and I’m clueless about what to do.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

Well.. we have a few issues…

    1. The qTranslate plugin is only rated up to WP version 3.8.3. This is probably the main reason why it crashes your editor. It’s not yet rated for version 3.9.

    2. In order to determine what is causing the visual editor to malfunction, you should use your browser console to view the error reporting.
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

That should provide you with the error notices which will point you to what plugin is causing the problem.

But, again… I’m betting the qTranslate plugin not being updated for WP 3.9 is your main issue.

EDIT: WOW – Not to mention 22 people have voted it as broken, and 0 have voted it works.

I don’t think it’s my plugin causing your issues, my friend.
