wp – email capture confirmation link never being sent

Same problem. WP Email Capture is sending the Welcome Message, which should be the email sent AFTER the confirmation email. I am never receiving the confirmation email and therefore the email is never put into the confirmed list.

No idea. If the email is being sent (which seems like it), then I suspect that it’s going into spam.

Is your email address different from the domain of your site? (as in a @gmail.com, @hotmail.com etc. address). Most email recipients don’t allow this.

Hi Rhys: I am also having trouble with this situation. I see a note that that “There are 25 e-mail addresses that have been unconfirmed”. I have submitted a few addresses of my own to ensure the system was working properly before requesting people sign up. I checked my spam folder and did not receive anything from the program. I am using the most up-to-date WordPress release on a professionally maintained server.

If there is no known solution can you instead tell me how to extract the contact information? I would like to confirm it manually so as not to annoy people signing up. My email address is [email protected] while my site is at https://www.bigjohnbates.ca. I currently have no email addresses running at bigjohnbates.ca as I didn’t note this was a requirement.
