Hi joch, a user of my plugin Meteor Slides reported to me that there was a conflict with your plugin WP Facebook Like.

I tested out the two plugins together, and the problem is that the slideshow from my plugin is a loop of slides posts. When your plugin is activated, it injects its script into both the main page or post loop and into the extra slideshow loop.

Have you run into this issue with other plugins, or themes that use more than one loop on a page?

    Hello JLeuze!

I see what you mean. I have not heard from any user about this problem before though. I can look into using another hook for injecting the like script for the next version. That would probably solve the problems your user is having.

Thanks for letting me know that there is a problem!

Thanks for checking this out joch, if there is something that I need to do with my plugin to resolve this problem just let me know.

The new version (released tomorrow) will check if the post type is a normal post or page, otherwise it won’t embed the button. That should hopefully fix the issue you are having.

By the way, when trying to activate your plugin to verify this, I got the following PHP error. I haven’t poked around yet, but I just thought I’d let you know.

Notice: Undefined index: post_type in wp-content/plugins/meteor-slides/meteor-slides-plugin.php on line 366

Thanks for the heads up on that error, I’ll check it out!
