WP Filebase error – is this issue South Africa specific?

  • We’re getting reports that some people in South Africa cannot download files on our site which are managed by the WP Filebase plugin.

    The files apparently download with a ‘.pdf.part’ file extension (as opposed to pdf file), and the filename is apparently a string of numbers and letter. The person is asked which software to use to open the file, and given a choice out of everything installed on their PC. They can’t actually see the file. So far, only people in SA have reported this….?

    We cannot replicate this problem. I would be grateful if anyone in SA reading this could please visit this link (https://is.gd/b9O0u) and try download the file appended to the end of the post – not the sidebar links.

    Similarly, if people outside SA could let us know if they have any issues.

    We are baffled – any ideas on what this could be? Any help would be appreciated.
