WP forms Lite

    Dear Support ,

    First , thanks for the plugin .

    I found that after installing the WP Mail SMTP plugin , an other plugin , ” WP forms Lite ” has been installed on my site . I found that the second plugin also belongs to your company .

    1 . First , please let me know how WP forms Lite Plugin has been installed on my site with out any permission ?
    2 . As I don ‘ t use any forms on my site , Please let me know what the functions of the WP Mail SMTP plugin could be affected by uninstalling WP forms Lite Plugin ?

    Hi there @theworkshop,

    When you install WP Mail SMTP and run through the setup wizard, it asks which email features you would like to enable. A list of features will appear with the option to check or uncheck different features. One of those features, Smart Contact Form, installs WPForms: https://d.pr/qXd0a6

    When setting up WP Mail SMTP, you can uncheck this feature if you don’t want to install WPForms, or you can uninstall it afterward. So to your second question, you can uninstall WPForms if you would like. It won’t cause any issues for WP Mail SMTP.
