I have had WP forms on a few sales pages on my website for the past couple of years and they have just stopped working. The last time I received an email was in July 2021, so they could have stopped working then or more recently. I’ve tried sending test emails through all of the forms and they’re no longer arriving in my inbox.

I’ve had to remove them from the pages they were in so that I don’t continue to miss enquiries for the services I offer, but I want to work out what’s going on and why they’ve stopped working. Any suggestions for how I can diagnose this? I’ve included a link above to a test page I’ve just added with one of the forms that doesn’t work.

I don’t have PRO so can’t see which entries have come through the plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @sdyson,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??
