Wp FullCalendar

Im using with wp full calendar and i have specified in the shortcode to exclude categories from the calendar and excluded them from the dropdown in function.php and this works well, but when i click on a category then back to all events it shows all of the excluded events on the calendar as well. How can i stop this?

It also takes a very long time to load admin_ajax.php. Do you know why this is?
