    Hi Shirinb!

Are you sure that you have set every SEO settings of your WordPress site?
I try to find some information on your site using normal Google search, but Google does not give me any result.

E.g. when I try this in Google.com, it has no result, but on your site contains the “students” word.
    students site:shirinhelp-flttest.ose-pilot.uts.edu.au

I think this is the problem, but it is not related with our plugin.

    Hi Peter,

I do not understand what you are trying to say.
Yes, I know it is not working and I have checked and rechecked to find out if I have done any mistake but I do not see any problem!

    Thanks

    Hi Shirinb!

This is a Google Search. So this works only if your site is indexed by Google, but I think your site is not indexed. I suppose this is the problem.

    Hi Peter,

For that reason we used https://helptest.online.uts.edu.au/
and this one is indexed by Google.

We almost gave up though. This is not working.

    Thanks,
    Shirin

    Hi Shirin!

Yes, I see that this site is indexed well, because I can find results using the normal Google search.
Google custom search can work only on those sites that is indexed, so you can use Google Custom search for your other site if you register for Google indexing that too.

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for your reply.

However, we tried Google search in both sites and it is not working.
I still have the same problem, “It doesn’t display any result”.

    Thanks,
    Shirin

    Hi Shirin!

    Please check the followings:
1.Log in to cse.google.com, go into one of your sites, and try the search panel on the left to see, if you get search results in cse.google.com

    2. Check if Google Search Engine ID is set properly in the plugin settings page. More information is here: https://webshoplogic.com/product/wp-google-search-wordpress-plugin#tab-faq

    3. Check if you have a Search Results WP page, if the slug of it is search_gcse, and if the visibility of this page is public.

If all of these settings are good, then you have to get results.

I hope this information is useful for you.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the advice. Could you please let me know me why I can make this work with my test environment which is https://shirinhelp-flttest.ose-pilot.uts.edu.au
But it does not bring any result in https://helptest.online.uts.edu.au/
    ?
I have done the same settings in both of them!

    Cheers,
    Shirin

    Hi Shirin!

I can tell it to you because I have not got enough information about it. Please give us the result of the check that I suggested in our previous reply.
Check it first for both of your site, write the result to me, and then we can go on to resolve this problem.

    Thanks,
    Peter
