Wp-Grins

  • Where can I get the 1.5 wp-grins? I tried installing a version some one told me about but I can’t activate it (it doesn’t show up on the plugin list)

  • In Options > Misc, I assume you have the ‘legacy’ box checked ?
    Mine is not.
    I have the plugin (the download I indicated) uploaded and activated and I have the call to wp_grins in comments.php too.

    actually that is the error I get when the legacy box is unchecked… if it is checked there is no error…

    I am not complaining… its working perfectly, but only in a very very diff manner is it working…

    I would like to post my solution to the problem which I discovered.

    The main problems are if you used the same plugin before and had implemented it with a legacy hack. For the new plugin to work, you have to

    1. first upload the new plugin to the plugins directory.
    2. Delete the wpgrins file from the root directory as well as the legacy hack file.
    3. go to plugins and activate the new plugin

    is there a way wherein you can display only around 10-12 of your fav smilies rather than all available smilies …
