WP Grins Plugin: Showing Smiles Inside “code” tags

  • So I have a post I wrote on my site that has a section of it with the code tags:

    <code>
</code>

    Problem is, the WP Grins plugin is interpreting certain parts within the code tags as smiles, so I have big grins where I should have some code. Does anyone have any ideas how to go about fixing this? I posted a comment on the authors website, but it appears he doesn’t support his own plugins, so I am at a loss what to do next…
