wp-includes directory won't delete from the FTP.

  • I am installing the latest version of wordpress and the directory wp-includes is not deleting from the FTP. Should it delete completely? Or can I simply overwrite the current wp-includes directory with the new updated directory?

    you can try. Make sure everything works after update.

    But the question is why yyou can delete if you want to. Have you discussed this with your hosting provider?
