    Hello,

According to my scan is this file changed (I did not change it or maybe one of my plugins did? Is it possible?)
    wp-includes/rest-api/endpoints/class-wp-rest-posts-controller.php

    Please this screenshot

I have found this development code

    Is this a problem?
I am still on WP 5.6.2

PS: There were 83 files changed.

Was my website hacked? I successfully prepared all of them.
    Please your advice.

    Thank you!

Hello @gopa4 and thanks for reaching out to us!

Thanks for providing all the information in your post!

If you’re still seeing WP 5.6.2 in the UI, the site was probably updated to 5.7 and rolled back, but didn’t get done completely. Some hosts have done this in the past too if the site owner didn’t do it themselves. (Note in the second screenshot, there’s a line saying since 5.7.1 — meaning that line was added in 5.7.1.)

It might also be done by the host patching your 5.6.2 with security and/or bug fixes from a future version — it would be weird to update that many js files at once though.

The JS changes look normal to me though.

    Thanks again!

    Thank you!!!
