• Hi all.

I currently have a Wix website (let’s call it currentDomain.com) and I want to change to a WordPress one without taking the current website out of service while I’m designing the wordpress template.

I got to the part where I added an addon domain with my current domain name (currentDomain.com) and installed WordPress successfully in the new hosting.

But if I want to access the WP-admin to design the website, it doesn’t find it because I need to type currentDomain.com/wp-admin. Correct?

What’s the workflow for these cases?
    Thanks!

I don’t quite understand your setup.

Where are you getting your Wix site from — Wix.com or from a 3rd-party?

Were you able to access the WordPress site you installed “successfully”?

Can you give us the ACTUAL domains involved so we can actually TEST them out and provide you with better support?

    Thank you George.
I just needed to use the hosts file in my computer to be able to see the new wordpress deisgn while keeping the old website live.

    Problem solved, for now ??
