WP installed on mac or on the hosting server?

  • I am not sure what it means by INSTALLING WORDPRESS is … supposed to be installed in my computer or on my bluehost server.
    trying to build my website for the first time, and i am confused.
    bluehost says WP is installed, when i talked to tech support but i don’t see any files on my computer?
    anything to be done?
    please help.

    WordPress is a web application, installed on a web server. If your hosting is at Bluehost, you need no WP files on your Mac. Access the site via your web browser.

    yeah as Steve mention, you dont need files on your laptop, probably just need to go on yourdomain/wp-admin and there you have your wp intallation. If you want to work on your site locally in your computer them you need a local installation!
