When using the [jobs] shortcode if there are any params in the URL it doesn’t show any of the job listings because it adds a slash after the params e.g. it sends a request to /jm-ajax/get_listings/?lang=es/ instead of /jm-ajax/get_listings/?lang=es .

Hi, @wpfsebr! Can you let me know which parameters you are adding to the [jobs] shortcode? I just tried this on a test site, and the [jobs] shortcode with parameters still works as expected.

Can you check if your shortcode might be wrapped in any HTML tags? To check, you can view the page content in HTML mode and remove any formatting surrounding the shortcode.

Hi. I’m not using any parameters in the shortcode itself, the parameters are just in the URL of the page where the [jobs] shortcode is located. I’m using WPML for the translations and that is what might be causing the issue because if i have another parameter to the URL that is not the lang one it works fine but if i add /?test=a&lang=es it still asks for /?lang=es/ .

So if the URL is /careers-and-training/?test=a it asks for /jm-ajax/get_listings/ but if the URL is /careers-and-training/?test=a&lang=es it sends a request to /jm-ajax/get_listings/?lang=es/ .

    Hi @wpfsebr,

Based on what you shared, it sounds like either some custom code or another plugin is adding that??lang=..?parameter. Considering the lang string, perhaps it’s related to a translation plugin? Do you have WPML or something similar?

We recommend running conflict tests for plugins you have installed on your site. Health Check is a tool that can be useful for debugging, though it requires an official default theme like Twenty Seventeen. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site.
